A major part of his life Felix spent in gaining scientific knowledge. Fascinated by chemistry from the first lesson in school aged 13, he decided to study it after a short trip into medicine.

Surprisingly faced with physical chemistry (actually he always wanted to become a toxicologist), he finished his study with a experimental diploma thesis with a spectroscopic topic.

Not having enough at this stage, he decided to write a dissertation in a similar field, the ultrafast dynamics in molecular liquids.
